Scripture Cookies

We made these for an Activity Day Girls activity and they were a huge hit! They would also work well for Family Home Evening.

BEAT TOGETHER:


3/4 cup--Psalms 55:21 ("The words of his mouth were smoother than _____")

1/3 cup--2 Nephi 26:25 ("Come unto me all ye ends of the earth, buy _____ and honey")

1 1/2 cups--Jeremiah 6:20 ("To what purpose cometh there to me ... the ______ ______ from a far country?")

2--Isaiah 10:14 ("As one gathereth _____ that are left, have I gathered all the earth.")

MIX IN:
2 cups--1 Kings 4:22 ("And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine _____")

1 tsp--Exodus 30:23 ("Take thou also unto thee principal spices ... and of sweet _____ half so much")

1 tsp--Matthew 5:13 ("Ye are the _____ of the earth")

1/2 tsp--Matthew 13:33 ("The kingdom of heaven is like unto _____")

3 cups--D&C 89:17 ("Nevertheless..._____ for the horse")

1 cup--1 Samuel 30:12 ("And they gave him ... two clusters of ____")

DROP by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. BAKE at 350'F for 15 minutes.

Answers: 3/4  cup butter, 1/3 cup milk, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 2 c flour, 1 t cinnamon, 1 t salt, 1/2 t baking soda, 3 c oats, 1 c raisins (we substituted chocolate chips)
