Becky brought this wonderful idea at Thanksgiving and we had a blast making Tootsie Pop Turkeys together.
Bag of Tootsie Pops
1-2 Bunches of silk fall folliage leaves
Bag of Hershey kisses
Black sharpie
Red marker
Hot glue gun
googly eyes, optional
Cut the leaves off of the wire bunch. Glue one to the back of each Tootsie Pop as the tail. Glue a Hershey kiss on the opposite side of the Pop as the head (flat part of the kiss against the pop--the point is the beak). Glue on googly eyes if desired, otherwise draw on eyes with a sharpie. Color the Hershey kiss logo banner/pull tab/"tail thingy"/flag (what IS the name of that?) red and trim to be the wattle (I looked that up. It's the official term. We called them "gobblers" during our assembly process). And, voila! A Turkey!
