I tweaked another recipe I found to make this one. These were very tasty and would be a great addition to a brunch.
1 can refrigerator crescent rolls
3 Tbsp slivered almonds
2 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 Tbsp honey
1/4 tsp almond extract
Preheat oven to 350'F. Spray muffin tin with Pam.
Combine melted butter, honey and almond extract until fully mixed. Spoon evenly into 8 cups in the muffin tin.
On each triangle to dough, spoon 1/2 tsp of slivered almonds. (You want to put them on the fat end, toward the middle so that they are enclosed when you roll it up.) Roll up dough like you're making crescent rolls, then bend the side points in to make it more of a ball. Place one in each muffin cup over the liquid.
Cook according to package directions, usually 11-15 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool in pan for 1 minute, then remove from pan. Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!

Hmmm. Somehow this sounds MUCH better than my usual brunch of a bag of pretzels from the vending machine!
